Moongdal Thalipeeth - Lentil Flat bread

Lauki Doodhi Kheer- Sweet Gourd Dessert



1 medium sized lauki/doodhi /bottle gourd
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tsps ghee/ clarified butter
4 cups of milk
1 tsp ground cardomom

Peel and wash the doodhi. Grate fine to make 2 cups full. Add the ghee, sugar and milk. Cook over a low to medium fire till the mixture has reduced to 1/3rd. Garnish with a tsp of ground cardamom and serve hot or cold.
