How to make Ghee/ Clarified Butter

Moongdal Thalipeeth - Lentil Flat bread

Ingredients:

1 cup soaked moong dal
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
Three tbsps oil

Put all the ingredients into a blender and puree till smooth. Heat the oil in a non stick frying pan. While it heats, using your palms, pat two tablespoon of the mixture into a circle 4 " in diameter and 4 mm thickness and swat it onto the frying pan. Make the rest of the mixture into similiar 4 " rounds and cook over medium heat till browned on both sides and cooked through.Add more oil if necessary.
This makes a delicious, filling and nutritious flat bread.
